Power Failures in commual areas

There are many reasons why you may have suffered  power  failure to your communal areas.  Please do not attempt to "fix" any problems yourself as this may be dangerous and invalidate the Buildings Insurance Policy. Please  call us immediately and we will send a qualified contractor to site to investigate and repair the problem as quickly as possible.

If you have power but no lighting it could be something as simple as a PIR (Passive Infra-Red) sensor, an issue with the Timer  or simply  a lamp that has blown causing the circuit breaker to "trip" out.

Although changing a burnt out lamp is very easy please do not try and replace/fix anything as many of the communal lighting systems use bespoke lamps which could shatter and possibly afflict harm.

In the event of a power failure to the communal hallways and staircases,  the emergency lighting units will activate automatically.  These lighting units are battery powered and will generally provide emergency lighting up to a 3 hour period.  Emergency lighting systems are checked and commissioned on an annual basis as part of our Health and Safety procedures. .

Should you experience  any power loss to your home, please do not hesitate to contact us for  advice and or assistance.
